The ten best EDM shows in Denver in June
Catch Dada Life and 150 of Denver's hottest acts at the Westword Music Showcase on Saturday, June 22.
DADA LIFE @ 2013 WESTWORD MUSIC SHOWCASE | SAT, 6/22
The craze surrounding Dada Life is well deserved. The act knows how to throw the wildest party in the EDM game. Banana suits, inflatable champagne bottles, champagne showers and stage diving are just some of craziness that comes with this duo. Couple that with bangin' electro beats and epic buildups, and you've got yourself one hell of a party...in downtown Denver, just as the sun is going down.

CROOKERS @ SHOWCASE AFTERPARTY/ CITY HALL | SAT, 6/22
Crookers may have hit the radar for some with a mean remix of Kid Cudi's "Day and Night," but he's been on the radar for the heads for quite sometime. He adapts hip-hop roots with modern club spins and always keeps your feet moving with uptempo tracks and low-down bass. (Catch Crookers with Ginger Perry, Shannon von Kelly and Denver Disco DJs.)
PAUL VAN DYK @ BETA NIGHTCLUB | THU, 6/6
As the number-one DJ in the world, trance legend Paul van Dyk has become synonymous with the genre that pushed him to the top. Like so many of his peers, he is now working his way into that big-room sound by finding comfort in the blasting bass lines that he once avoided in lieu of melodic harmonies. However, Paul van Dyk knows how to work a room, which is why has always remained in the spotlight as one of the leading producers, and which is also why he'll surely drive this point home when he plays Beta again.
PAT LOK @ NORAD DANCE BAR | FRI, 6/7
Pat Lok holds true to the disco feel of things by keeping it deep and chill. With disco styles starting to take over the big sound systems, Lok will find himself right at home playing to the acutely tuned ears of Denver's mature EDM crowd At NORAD.
