The ten best EDM shows in Denver in July
GLOBAL DANCE FESTIVAL @ RED ROCKS | FRI-SUN, 7/19-7/21
Going strong for ten years, Global Dance Festival is the premier summer event for EDM fans. Changing things up in the past few years, Triad Dragons has expanded offerings to include acts like Beats Antique, EOTO, Big Gigantic and Empire of the Sun. It's a full-on dance party, and this year's lineup will grab you whether you're out for laser-heavy electro-house, bass-in-your-face dubstep or genre-merging jamtronica. This year's headliners include Savoy, Sander Van Doorn, MiMoSA and Gramatik, among others.

KILL THE NOISE @ BETA | FRI, 7/5/13
Finding success in signing with Skrillex's OWSLA record label, Kill the Noise has grown into one of the heaviest producers currently touring. Jake Stanczak, the brains behind the whole operation, developed Kill the Noise's sound for years. His powerhouse club bangers melt with melodic pianos and tease the fringe of metal anthems. This burgeoning genre -- this heavy meets lovely blend -- blasts from the speakers, leaving you in a state of seizing bliss.
PANTYRAID @ BOULDER THEATER | SAT, 7/6/13
Marty Folb and Josh Mayer have built the PANTyRAiD brand from the ground up. Folb and Mayer have delicately shaped their baby -- which started as a side project for the two successful producers -- from an underground name to a massive draw of its own. By applying their personal takes on hip-hop, dubstep and glitchy bass, the duo's latest release, Pillowtalk, flew to the top of the dance charts, and even premiered a special mash-up video on MTV Clubland.
GOLDIE @ NORAD | THUR, 7/11/13
Since producing in the '90s, Goldie has admirably stood the test of time, watching the scene go through many stages while staying true to his passion of true U.K. drum-and-bass. With sets filled with high synths, melodic pianos and soulful vocals, this longtime scene veteran will show you how it was done back then -- and how it's still done today.
