VIE Luxe Nightclub will open in September and is holding a "casting call" in two weeks
Six years ago, Lotus Clubs opened the ultra-slick upscale Suite Two Hundred at 1427 Larimer Street, which had former housed Lucky Star. Now Lotus, which also runs Chloe and View House, is set to open VIE Luxe Nightclub in that space on Friday, September 12 with a performance by Manufactured Superstars. While the new club will still focus on bottle service, as did Suite Two Hundred, the 7,000 square-foot VIE will be bringing in local and national EDM talent as well as a visual DJ and state of the art sound and lighting systems, including a 32-foot LED screen.

VIE in French means "life," and part of the the spot's goal is to give people a place to escape everyday life. "At VIE you will check reality at the door," is part of the club's tag line. "We want VIE to be a part of everyone's life who works hard and need to reward themselves in the grandest way possible."
Carrie Booze, Lotus marketing director, says VIE will be different than Suite Two Hundred in that the focus will be more on the music and they're going for a "super-club" kind of feel. The space will be more open as well and Booze says there really won't be a bad seat in the house and the DJ will be the main focus.
The club will be holding a casting call for VIP cocktail waitresses, bartenders, security and door staff from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 at 1442 Market Street. Applicants are asked to bring a one-page resume with references and current photo. Waitresses and bartenders must wear cocktail attire and door staff must wear a black suit.
