STS9 headlines the Fillmore Auditorium on New Year's Eve, and tickets ($75) go on sale on Saturday, October 4 at 10 a.m.

Jane's Addiction will perform Nothing's Shocking in its entirety and more songs at the Ogden Theatre on Wednesday, November 19. Tickets ($85) go on sale on Saturday, October 4 at 10 a.m.

Victor Wooten will be at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ball room on Saturday, December 27. A very special guest will be announced November 24. Tickets ($20/$25) go on sale on Friday, October 3 at 10 a.m.

Yonder Mountain String Band, Lucero, Bouncing Souls New Year's Shows Announced

Fans at the last Yonder Mountain String Band show at Red Rocks.
As part of a recently announced batch of New Year's Eve shows, Yonder Mountain String Band is slated to headline the Boulder Theater for four nights, starting Wednesday, December 31 through Saturday, January 3. Tickets ($35-$65/4-day pass $160) go on sale on Friday, September 26 at 10 a.m.

Lucero headlines three nights at the Gothic Theatre (Monday, December 29 through Wednesday, December 31) with Drag the River opening on the first night and Murder By Death opening the following two nights. General admission tickets for Monday and Tuesday are $25.75 (with a limited number of tickets on sale this weekend for $20) while general admission tickets for the NYE show are $40 and VIP balcony seats are $85. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, September 27 at 10 a.m.

However, a steady stream of artists have been moving to the state for years. New Jersey-based newgrass act Railroad Earth, who has played the Ogden Theatre many times, return to the venue for a three-night stand from Thursday, January 22 through Saturday January 24. Tickets ($34.50) go on sale on Friday, September 19 at 10 a.m.

John Mellencamp brings his Plain Spoken tour to the Ellie Cauklins Opera House on Friday, July 31, and Carlene Carter opens the show. Tickets ($42.50-$129.50) go on sale on Friday, September 19 at 10 a.m.

Lucinda Williams Williams headlines the Ogden Theatre on Sunday, November 2 in support of her forthcoming album, Down Where the Spirit Meets the Bone, which is slated for release on September 30. Tickets ($35/$40) go on sale on Friday, September 19 at 10 a.m.

Usher brings his UR Experience to the 1STBANK Center on Tuesday, December 2 with August Alsina and DJ Cassidy opening. Tickets ($39-$154) go on sale on Monday, September 15, at 10 a.m.

Chrissie Hynde visits the Paramount Theatre as part of her 25-city North American tour in support of her solo album, Stockholm. She'll perform music from the disc as well as classic Pretenders songs. Tickets ($45-$75) go on sale on Friday, September 12, at 10 a.m.

As part of its Pain Killer tour, Little Big Town headlines 1STBANK Center on Thursday, November 20; tickets go on sale on Friday, September 12, at 10 a.m.

Also, tickets are now on sale for the Colorado Symphony Presents series, which includes Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Chick Corea & Herbie Hancock, Zappa Plays Zappa, the Chieftans and more.

B.o.B. brings his No Genre tour with Kevin Gates to the Gothic Theatre on Saturday, November 8, and general admission tickets ($35) go on sale on Friday, August 22 at 10 a.m.

As part of its First Things First Tour, Neon Trees, along No Devition and The Moth & The Flame, stop at the Boulder Theater Tuesday, October 7, and tickets ($25/$27) go on sale on Friday, August 22 at 10 a.m.

Members of Polytoxic, along with over 40 guest musicians, will be at the Fillmore Auditorium for the annual The Last Waltz Revisited, a recreation of sorts of the Band's legendary 1976 farewell performance captured on film by Martin Scorsese. As part of his 27-date 2014 American fall tour, Skrillex headlines CU's Balch Fieldhouse on Wednesday, October 15 with GTA, Nadastrom and Alesia on the bill as well. Early bird tickets ($40, available while supplies last) and general admission seats ($50) go on sale Friday, August 15 at 10 a.m.

Robert Plant, whose forthcoming album, lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar, is due September, will be at the Fillmore Auditorium on Saturday, October 4 with his band, the Sensational Space Shifters.
