Lotsa Luck, Juicy Lucy's

Can Juicy Lucy's overcome the curse of 250 Josephine Street? Despite the fact that the address comes with a parking lot -- a rarity in Cherry Creek -- restaurants that take on this spot never seem to last too long.

Papillon had a fairly long run here, but after that Radek Cerny restaurant closed abruptly six years ago, it was followed in short order by Indigo, Go Fish Grill and Tula, a great modern Mexican restaurant created by Chris Douglas (shown above) that just never quite caught on. Now Juicy Lucy's, a steakhouse that's an offshoot of a popular Glenwood Springs restaurant, is giving it a try. It opened on Thursday, and is offering breakfast and lunch seven days a week.

Good luck, Lucy. You'll need it to survive this spot.
