Rock Bottom's Political Ale

And although it wasn’t the beer of the day, Rock Bottom, at 1001 16th Street, was pouring its Political Ale to commemorate the DNC.
It is one of four beers I know of in town that were brewed just for the convention and the political season in general. The others are Avery Brewing’s Ale to the Chief (reviewed here), Great Divide’s Liberally Hoppped and the Wynkoop’s Obamanator.
I’m sorry to say, however, that Political Ale, which was tapped on August 21, is as bland and palatable to the masses as any two-bit politician, full of empty promises.
With a dirt-like flavor reminiscent of cheap supermarket beer, a vote for Political Ale is a vote for more of the same. – Jonathan Shikes
