Fox restaurants offering crafty deals for winter meals

Fox Restaurant Concepts, the people behind Bloom, NoRTH and Sauce Pizza & Wine, are featuring various deals through the end of March. NoRTH (190 Clayton Lane in Cherry Creek) and Bloom (1 West FlatIron Crossing Drive in FlatIron) are offering 50 percent off all bottles of wine -- NoRTH on Mondays and Boom on Tuesdays. And every day, Sauce is offering a $20 meal for two.

Bloom and NoRTH are also doing some special deals for Valentine's Day, says Debbie Porter, Fox director of marketing. "Although we typically offer a Valentine's Day special, we wanted to offer a great value for our guests this year -- three courses for just $50 per person. We are also offering our early hour specials at an incredibly low price, as we know times are tough for many of our guests." And those early-hour specials feature the same three courses for just $30 per person from 4-5:30 p.m.

While I had Porter on the phone, I asked how Bloom was doing, since the FlatIron area is seeing a lot of movement. "Sales are pretty good right now considering the economy," she says. "With all of the closures and construction at FlatIron Crossing Mall, we do need to remind people that our Bloom restaurant is still open and is still considered one of the best restaurant values in its category in the Broomfield area."

Fox Restaurant Concepts has eleven restaurants around the country, including the three in metro Denver. Sauce, in the Village Plaza in Greenwood Village, is the newest of those three, and also the least expensive. With its $20 dinner special, diners can share one pizza (out of eleven choices on the menu), one salad (choosing from seven possibilities) and two glasses of red or white wine.
