After a dozen years, Redfish Fish House & Brewery will serve its last order of jambalaya tomorrow night. To celebrate the end of a long run, the New Orleans-style brewhouse is hosting "the Deadfish" event on Wednesday night, complete with a silent auction of its voluminous art collection at 7 p.m. and music by the bluegrass band Spring Creek at 9:30 p.m.
Jim Howser, who bought the restaurant at 2027 13th Street in Boulder three months ago, will then begin a total renovation of the building. It's slated toi reopen February 14 as the Colorado Brewing Company (or CBC) Drafthouse, featuring the beers of the Colorado Brewing Company as well as live music.

brewhouse with a Front Range-style menu consisting of familiar and
globally inspired foods along with perfectly balanced handcrafted beers
for the everyday beer drinker and the micro-brew enthusiast, all served
in a friendly and comfortable setting that is enhanced by quality live
music several days a week."
We'll drink to that -- and we can in just a few weeks, at CBC Drafthouse. But on Wednesday night, let the good times roll for one last time at Redfish.
