Close to thirty years ago, this lovely, circa 1901 building, housed Inches, a fushiony, noodle-bowly restaurant that was way ahead of its time in both concept and location. Inches didn't last long, but it's good to see that its former home is once again being used -- although we wouldn't mind seeing the return of Inches in the definitely now-hip Baker neighborhood.
