From 7 to 8:30 p.m. on March 19, the wines will be kosher at a wine-tasting at the new Kitchen Table Cooking School, in the Landmark project in Greenwood Village; for more info, call 303-220-9769 or go to www.kitchentablegv.com.

Centro Latin Kitchen, at 950 Pearl Street in Boulder, is hosting a Veramonte Wine Dinner at 6:30 p.m. March 19; exec chef Ian Clark is creating a four-course dinner that pairs with the Chilean wines. Tickets are $60 per person; for reservations, call 303-442-7771. And at Lola, Centro's sibling restaurant at 1575 Boulder Street in Denver, the drink will be tequila at 6:30 p.m. March 19, when the Colorado Tequila Consortium joins with special guest chef Brandon Niederman of Steuben's. Dinner - and plenty of tequila - is $75; for reservations, call 720-570-8686.

Finally, "Taste Test: Random Encounters in the History & Science of Food" at the Lab at Belmar, 404 South Upham in Lakewood, focuses on green chile on Thursday, March 19. Farmer Shane Milberger and chef Kevin Taylor (Restaurant Kevin Taylor, etc. etc.) will no doubt offer heated conversation on the topic. For information, go to www.belmarlab.org.
