Lime, Cheeky Monk head for the hills

Categories: The Dish
The Winter Park ski area is actually owned by the city of Denver -- and now two familiar Denver eateries have joined the new Village project at the base of the ski hill.

Lime finally opened a fourth outpost in Winter Park -- and its margaritas seem particularly potent at 9,000 feet. Otherwise, the menu looks very close to the menus available at the original restaurant/club in Larimer Square, at Lime XS on Sixth Avenue, and in the Lime that opened late last year in the Landmark project in Greenwood Village.

And Lime has company in Winter Park: The Cheeky Monk, which opened at 534 East Colfax Avenue in 2007 and immediately became a big draw, just introduced a second outpost up at the Village. And its beers, too, seem particular potent at high altitudes.
