Not sure how Perch feels about cakes and cookies, but just a few blocks down the street from her shop sits two vacated storefronts that will soon become Beautiful Sweets, a sugar shack at 2299 West Main Street that'll pimp baked goods, all-organic sugar cookies, sandwiches, coffee and gelato, says owner Laina Mickus, who plans to turn the two adjoining spaces into a commercial kitchen and retail space sometime in September.
