Seven goes dark in Boulder

​It looks as though Seven Eurobar (which had, at some point in its brief history, become just "Seven" or, occasionally, "Seven on Pearl") has gone dark at 1035 Pearl Street in Boulder.  No one is picking up the phone (even though the voicemail still encourages callers to leave reservation requests) and the website is gone.

Why is this weird?  Well, it's not, really.  Restaurants close all the time. What makes this particular closure noteworthy is that Seven (or whatever it was calling itself there at the end) was originally opened by Michel Wahaltere.  And granted, while Wahaltere has been gone from Seven for a long time (he walked away from his stake in February 2007 because he thought his partners there were focused too much on the bar scene and not enough on the food), can you remember what else Wahaltere opened back in the day?

That's right: Moda, at 975 Lincoln Street, where Nine75 just served its last meal over the weekend.
