Cherry Creek North Food and Wine Festival takes over Fillmore Plaza
The eating event of the weekend is the inaugural Cherry Creek North Food and Wine festival, a three-day eating and drinking blowout on Fillmore Plaza that celebrates the culinary arts. 
The festival includes chef demonstrations by Tyler Wiard (Elway's), Michel Walthere (MiniBAR) and Jeff Bolton (Second Home Kitchen & Bar); wine and spirits sessions; grand tasting events; small bites from a dozen Cherry Creek restaurants, including Tambien, Argyll,, Hapa Sushi and NoRTH; and a guest chef appearance from James Beard Award finalist John Tesar, a Texas-based chef who once helmed the kitchen at the Mansion on Turtle Creek.
The food demonstrations and classes are free to the public, while tonight's kick-off party and Saturday night's grand tasting soiree carry admission costs. For tickets and prices, go to www.cherryarts.org/foodandwine.
