Today's three square deals: Pho, Mexican suds and a fresh catch

​Lunch: There's a very good reason why Pho 95, the Vietnamese soup and noodle shack at 1002 South Federal Boulevard, is ridiculously busy morning, noon and night: The service is by far the best on the Boulevard and the pho, rich, steaming hot and fragrant with anise, is phenomenal, not to mention insanely inexpensive. A huge bowl brimming with flank, tripe and tendon is less than $9, and unless you've got the gut of a grizzly, it's more than enough to share between two. And the heaping platter of accoutrements -- saw tooth, mint, basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges and rings of jalapeno -- is unbelievably generous, too.

​Liquid: Lizard's Bar & Grill, the south of the border cantina and watering hole that just opened at 1920 Blake Street, is peddling a swell happy hour, especially on Monday, when all Mexican beers are $2 between the hours of 3 and 8 p.m. and tacos are $1 all day long. The rest of the week brings a slew of other deals, including discounted prices on domestic drafts, Long Island iced teas, frozen margaritas and yards.

​Dinner: From now until the last day of summer, Oceanaire, the seafood shrine at 1400 Arapahoe Street, is banking on the assumption that 2010 will be more profitable than 2009 by rolling out a three-course menu (soup, salad and main dish) for $20.10, plus a selection of bottled red and white wines for the same price. Both the wine and dinner deals are available every night of the week, starting at 5 p.m. If you're already feeling the swell of a fat wallet, the house of aquatics is also offering a three-course summer market menu for $29.95 per person, which includes several choices of salads, entrees and desserts.
