Colorado-grown band OneRepublic is in Denver for their concert at Magness Arena, but before they take the stage tonight, they'll be volunteering at the Food Bank of the Rockies.

The band, responsible for popular tracks Apologize and All the Right Moves, will be packing boxes and sorting food alongside staff and volunteers this afternoon. A crew from NBC's The Biggest Loser will also be on hand to film for a future episode for its Pound for Pound Challenge.

The effort between the show and General Mills challenges people to pledge online to lose weight; for every pledged pound lost, General Mills will donate 14 cents -- enough to provide a pound of food to a food bank -- to Feeding America.

It's not the first time Food Bank of the Rockies has been graced by the presence of a celebrity. According to the bank's blog, musician and former reality show star Nick Lachey stopped by last week to pack boxes with children from the Broncos Boys and Girls Club.

Food Bank of the Rockies, a non-profit organization and a member of Feeding America, serves more than 300,000 people annually. It partners with 700 agencies which administer more than 1,000 hunger-relief programs in metro Denver, northern Colorado and throughout Wyoming.

OneRepublic, and Carolina Liar, opens for Rob Thomas at Magness Arena tonight. Doors open at 7:30.
