Vina Pho & Grill enters the pho wars

• Last night we went to that place for the first time. We ordered three meals to go: calamares, rice platter and shrimp noodle bowl. Calamares were OK, the rest horrible. No taste and not many ingredients: the meals consisted mainly of noodles and rice. I was lucky to find 2 shrimps in that noodle bowl. They also forgot the chili oil we asked for. We even asked twice to make sure they included it. Yikes, this is the 1st and last time we ever go to that place and we will tell all our friends and colleagues what a rip-off this place is!

• Love the decor! I dont feel like I'm eating on South Federal. Its very warm and comfortable. The beef carpaccio is the best thing I've ever tasted! The Pho is beyond good! Fast and friendly service! I personally would eat there at least 2x's a week! YummO!

• Haven't had the b�?, but I've been twice for pho in the past couple weeks, and it was actually quite excellent. Not on a Pho 95 level, but I'd say it was better than most of the Federal joints. And since it's close to where I live, I think this is going to be my go-to pho spot. The decor is pretty much all leftover from the now defunct Anise Mediterannean Grill that Vina took over. It actually makes for a pretty nice experience compared to most dingy pho restaurants.

• They really do b�?? Color me skeptical (especially given the decor) but I'll give it a shot.
