Monday, November 16:

Taste six Great Divide beers -- Denver Pale Ale, Samurai Unfiltered Rice Ale, Hibernation English-Style Old Ale, Fresh Hop Pale Ale, Hercules Double IPA and Yeti Oak-Aged Imperial Stout -- paired with six food courses at Argyll Gastropub, 2700 East Third Avenue in Cherry Creek. Dazzle, 930 Lincoln Street, presents French Soups and Stews from 7 to 9 p.m. Chef Duncan Smith has paired five courses with five Hob Nob Vineyards wines, and vocalist Julie Monley and pianist Fredric Desmoulins will provide entertainment. Tuesday, November 17 and Wednesday, November 18:

The Cru Wine Bar locations at 1442 Larimer Street (November 17) and 8433 Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree (November 18) present a five-course dinner pairing Barolo wines with white truffles from Oregon, featuring guest speaker Daniel Kratzer. Wednesday, November 18:

Anthony Bourdain, star of No Reservations, stops at the Buell Theatre to share stories of his culinary adventures; tickets, $35-$60, are available at all Ticketmaster outlets.

Thursday, November 19:

Tony's Market, 950 Broadway, is serving up an Italian Family Dinner Night featuring crostine di salmone, melanzana alla parmigiana, rosbif in Barolo, insalata d'indivia and panna cotta con composta, plus suggested bottles of wine ranging from $22 to $25. The meal is $30 per person, and reservations are required; make yours at 720-880-4501.

The second annual Mile High United Way Emerging Leaders Wine Event benefits Mile High United Way. Bring three bottles of the same wine, brand and vintage, for other participants to taste in a blind test; teams will write down their favorite wines, and those who bought the favorite wine will take home everyone else's unopened bottles. The Celebrity Chef Tour, benefiting the James Beard Foundation, stops in Denver with chefs Lachlan Mac Kinnon Patterson and Thanawat Bates with master sommeliers Bobby Stuckey and Richard Betts; they'll offer a multi-course meal, paired with wines, for $175 at the Brown Palace Hotel, 321 17th Street, at 7 p.m. tonight. A Belgian-inspired five-course dinner, paired with a ten-year vertical beer tasting takes place tonight at A Decade of Decadence: Ten Years of the Reverend Belgian Quadrupel Beer Dinner and Vertical Tasting at the Avery Tap Room, 5763 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder.
