A last taste of 2009

• Best Fish Taco at Chez Jose - fun watching all the Cherry Creekers

• Oh Bump and Grind (and Emma Peel) -- why did you have to go?

• Not going to miss Trail Dust Steak House. Sorryyyyyy.

• I agree with Ambitious Drinker, Buenos Aires was awesome. The simple but excellent Argentinian fare, the lighting, the mood, the music... I'll also miss Aix, though having Olivea move in takes the sting off. I just wish we could have both. Hospoda was a really unique place too. Good riddance to: The Squealing Pig, ESPN Zone (though Tilted Kilt is hardly an upgrade) and Chedd's (was fun and decent back in the day, on a downward spiral since about 2007).

• I will miss Bump & Grind (and not just so I can promote my own blog... lookin' at you, Mama). So many great memories there, particularly the look on my mother's face the first time I dragged her in for brunch. Oh, and their version of the 'Benedict'- my absolute favorite in Denver. :*(

• Chez Jose. 17 years of tasty Tex-Mex food. A very good value for the money. Great, friendly staff. A terrific owner.

• Miss the Buenos Aires Grill more than I've ever missed any restaurant. That place was absolutely perfect.
