Oh, Brother! A new member in Denver's band of Brothers

Brothers Bar and Grill -- not to be confused with My Brother's Bar or Brothers BBQ
First, there was My Brother's Bar, which forty years ago last week moved into the building at 2376 15th Street that's held a saloon since the 1870s. The bar remains under the watchful eye of Jim Karagas, who'd opened the Wazee Lounge and Supper Club at 1600 15th Street with his brother, Angelo, just a few years before -- hence the name of this saloon. (After Angelo passed away, the Wazee was sold; it's now part of the Wynkoop Restaurant Group family).

Then came Brothers BBQ, which Chris and Nick O'Sullivan, two brothers originally from England, started in Denver in 1998; today there are eight metro locations.

And now another eatery is about to join the band of Brothers. Brothers Bar and Grill is taking over the space at 1920 Blake Street that had been Theorie (and the Real World house before that, and B-52 before that, and Bella before that).

This Brothers was founded in 1990 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin; over the years, its expanded to seventeen locations in eight Midwestern states. Denver will be its furthest foray West; it's slated to open in March.
