Pesce Fresco is (almost) all new

Pesce Fresco, a longtime favorite at 6600 South Quebec in Centennial, has new owners, a new chef, a new menu and, as of February 2, new hours that include lunch.

Joel and Merilee Diner, who've run the restaurant for the last ten years, have passed it on to another married couple, Paul Stickler and Erin Abromeit. Stickler is a graduate of the Art Institute of Colorado Culinary Arts Program, and has worked at the the Flagstaff House, Strings, Aubergine, Emma's, McCormick's Fish House and, most recently, the Millenium Harvest House in Boulder, where he was executive sous. Abromeit is a pastry chef who's just finished three years at Daniel's of Paris; she also worked in the front-of-the house at Pesce Fresco.

The new owners have kept some of the longtime favorites on Pesce's menu, but Stickler has added some of his own creations. The restaurant will also feature daily fish specials at lunch, as well as an express lunch service for $10, with entree, soup or salad, and beverage.
