Talk about a blast from the past: Brittany Hill, long a favored spot for romantic dinners and corporate meetings, will soon rise again.

The restaurant, which boasted a stunning view and so-so food, opened back in 1981, and enjoyed a good run until it closed in 2006. But now the location at 9350 Grant Street in Thornton has a new liquor license. And, according to its website, the space is being renovated and will soon reopen as an events center with full bar and restaurant.
