Man, can Chicago cook!

A small sample of the great food I've eaten in Chicago

I'm collecting menus, pictures and diner notes like a klepto right now, hoarding them up in my culinary bank, remembering and instantly rehashing. Chicago restaurants are ridiculously good. I want to say more, but I'm too busy eating to stop and recount them all, at least right now. Suffice it to say that I'm overwhelmed and in foodie heaven.

I have eaten about 30 courses thus far, worked in two restaurants, spilled hot pepper juice on my shirt, downed pineapple gimlets, shucked peas for three hours straight, gotten lost (multiple times), had my body nearly give up on me after overeating, only to rally to work eight hours and eat for another two.

Here are a few albums of my pictures so far at L20, The Publican and Graham Elliot . The two places I've looked forward to eating at the most are on today' itinerary.

More to follow, probably on the eye-opening plane ride home.
