• I called this place on Sunday to make sure that they are open on Labor day. The woman who answered the phone confirmed that they are open as usual. We drove about 50 miles with few friends to try this new place but found the "closed" sign on the door and there was no any contact info. Please be a little bit more courteous and responsible so you will not lose good customers.

• I really liked first 3 times, Yesterday night was a different story.I ordered Mutton Biryani, What i got was bunch of bones with Over saturated butter biryani rice, Hope they will maintain consistence in quality of the food they serve, otherwise it will be another indian resturant in a strip mall. I drove 10 miles to get a dinner, really disspointed. Rao.

• I would give it 4 out of 5.Great Place,Nice ambience,Awesome food..Lollipop chicken,chilli gobi and Indo-chinese fried rice were too good.Finally a nice hip place to hang out and eat good food. The lounge is so cool and so are the owners that make sure everyone is taken care of by spending some time at each table talking to the guests. I would definitely recommend this place.

• Ambience was good but the hostess wearing a sexy dress was looking too cheap for family resturant .se should wear the indian trasitional clothes.Te music was too loud we could not hear our own conversation . It felt more like a disco bar . The kids of the owner , te hotel staff and te customers were all creating chaos . Food quality was so so ... service was ok . The owner/ manager did come and ask us twice how everything was which is good . He should try wear decent clothes. Overall the whole establishment is going thorugh a learning curve . I will give it 2/5 . meeta

• if u want to taste pakka south indian food... jai ho is the best option for it in denver.mutton kothu parota was really really nice.......but i am not satisfied with biriyani......

• Awesome south Indian food! Lots of amazing dishes and very good taste and quality.Been there 3 weekends already. I dont miss my hometown that much anymore bcos of all the authentic food. The ambiance is laid back and atmosphere is open.Service has definitely improved since opening and I hope Sathya keeps improving the standards as I want this restaurant to stay open for a long long time so I dont have to try and cook all the yummy dishes at home!;)

• We have been visiting this restaurant very often .We LOVE the food, ambience and personal touch of the owners. In Denver, we have always felt there is a lack of authentic south indian choices - and we are confident that Jai Ho is going to fill this niche! ALL THE BEST and keep up the good work!!

• This is by far the best Indian restaurant that I've been to in Colorado. With very stylish decor and exquisite food, I was very impressed with the ambience that the owners have created. • Recently at work, I was asked to fix a lunch get-togther for us colleagues and I thought of Jai Ho right away... A bunch of us co-workers went to Jai Ho yesterday...Excellent ambience and decor + a warm welcome from the hostess was a great starting point...Rice kheer, mor kuzhambu, carrot curry and chutneys were my favorites...Service was prompt and hot masala dosas made their way to our table... • Folks, Did stay off this blog to keep our minds singularly on running a restaurant,we have corrected our various issues, but every step is a learning experience and constant improvement is what we are aiming for. As always we have our share of fans and critics,we are passionate about this restaurant and we want to take care of everyone,I know it is tough to please everyone,but we want to do exactly that and nothing less. Sriram,Preetha,Shibu.. very generous comments and very much appreciated. @Preetha rose milka inime marakkave mattein :) @Shibu.. the bar n lounge will be so much fun when it opens,I promise.. :) Reddy, The opening day was supposed to be a private event, but it got out of hand,you should also know we fed about 350 people running through our 3 days worth of supplies and only collected from about 125 people @a throw away rate of 6.99. We still stand confidently behind the flavour,taste and quality of food and also our establishment and all this does have an associated cost. I still think our pricing is very competetive,our clientale so far has been most happy with our prices. Our hours are based on target clientale,peak hours and financials.Happy hours work well only with the bar and it will happen soon.. We appreciate your feedback though and your encouraging words at the end. Patel, Sorry about your first experience,bad timing is all I can say about it,we have succeeded in pleasing a majority, the smaller portion who leave unsatisfied will come back for sure,As our passion and effort towards our food and service will shine through.Please come and see me the next time and let me take personal care of you. • VERY IMPRESSED!! We went there last night for dinner. COOOOL..we've been waiting for a place like this in Denver area for a quite a while, I guess my wait is over. Great food, nice ambience and reasonably priced. My only concern is, they don't have a bar there, but I think they are working on it. I/we highly recommend this place!!

• Cut them some slack guys.. I think whatever was missing was made up in the taste of the food.. after 3 years here, this is the first time I've ever had such amazing SOUTH INDIAN food catered to the Indian tongue. And I thought they were trying to add a personal touch to every group that came in by talking and spending a couple of minutes with us. If you are expecting a white glove service, this is not the place to be. It has a more casual environment where people can go eat great food and laugh out loud. The interiors are tastefully done.I've never been to the buffet, but I think the A La Carte prices were reasonable.. My overall experience (and I think I can speak for my friends here as well) was excellent. Keep up the great work guys and good luck with getting everything else together.. we have high expectations for you.. P.S - antha rose milk mattum konjam seekirama kondu vaange.. ;) :P

• ***** Avoid this resturant for atleast few months, until the owners get the handle on running the restuarant.... Worst Service , Cold (stale) Food, Missing orders, Orders not served timely. Service was almost not existant. Not a kid friendly restaurant. Expensive price, small portions combined with lack of service made it a worst saturday night dining experience for our party. You have one chance to get it right and in our opinion they blew it. We felt so sorry for all the people that came in after us. We felt like warning them... but....

• I too was there on opening night and the place was completely out of control. I was surprised that the police did not show up as the situation became very dangerous for everyone. I, like many others there that night, left your establishment hungry and angry about the whole experience. I did go back for the lunch buffet last week and the food was tasty but just did not have enough quantity and variety to take care of all the customers. I also agree with others that the price was quite high for a lunch buffet and the service by your staff was poor. Maybe you were not completely prepared to launch the restaurant but you did anyways. You only get 1 chance to make a first impression and you did a poor job making such impression about your establishment. As for your quote of ",there is a difference in cost when operating a 5 star hotel versus a 2 star hotel,do we stay/eat at a five star setup and ask them to charge 2 star rates?" is correct, but I would hardly compare your establishment of being a "5 star" quality for your food, service, and ambiance. Instead of worrying about what others have to say about your restaurant, you need to take feedback from customers to find a way to make dramatic improvements. Finally, reconsider your business hours. I don't know of any successful restaurant that keep the kind of hours that you do. Opening at 11:30 for lunch is a joke. You completely lose out on customers who might be in a rush and want to eat early. Same goes for dinner hours starting at 6pm. These hours make you look lazy and unwilling to do what it takes to be successful. Heck, if it was me, I would be open from 10:30am - 10pm every day and would push hard for happy hour specials between lunch and dinner hours. I personally have decided that I would go back maybe 6 months or so from now, as we hope that you will make significant improvement to your establishment. Despite my criticism, I also believe that many folks want to see you succeed and provide a dining experience like no other Indian restaurant in Denver metro area. Good luck.

• Went for the lunch buffet today. Was quite impressed overall. Looks like they have addressed some of the concerns already voiced by others. Fine ambiance and fine food. The quality of items was very good. The keerai kootu, sambar and malabar kheer were very authentic. It is a welcome change to taste the freshly made sambar. I will go again.

Leela,I beg to differ,You cherry picked my statement, I highlighted the high quality ingredients and the very reasonably priced menu,also there is something called overhead,there is a difference in cost when operating a 5 star hotel versus a 2 star hotel,do we stay/eat at a five star setup and ask them to charge 2 star rates? Why does no one mention the extremely competetive rates on the menu. it is Online for everyone to see, we are not even on the higher band ,we do not have a single non seafood dish more than $12,

• Awesome food. Very kind folks and they were very cordial once they knew we were from Coimbatore. That Chicken65 and Mutton Kothu Parotta, man it reminds me of my hometown. Way to go. We would definitely visit again.

Sam,Shirly,Sunil,Ganesh,Satish, Apologize if anything was lacking, but we are just one week old and we are trying to put high quality 'menu' standard food in the buffets.we are correcting also our processes. Also about it being expensive,has anyone taken a look at our menu online, it is one of the most REASONABLY priced menus out there, the buffet is a couple of dollars more but the quality of the ingredients are high we use the best rice,vegetables and meat.Also if you notice the place, the decor the bathrooms,the napkins etc etc you will notice you are sitting in a fine establishment,all this adds up to the price. If you found something so bad please feel free to bring it up immediately to us and we will take care of it.

• My two cents,new restaurant ,great menu, great ambience.I went for the dinner a la carte, food was awesome. service needs more structure but acceptable for a just open one,it was very friendly and welcoming though,will give it a four out of five,definitely going back to try some more items..

• Very BAD joint quality is OK, but no food to taste during Buffet. Exteremely Expensive than any other indian joints around Colorado.....please do not entertain.

• we went there for mothers day expecting a lot...bt ended in a gr8 disappointment...it was total chaos....the menu for buffet was very little...i donno what took so long for them to refill the empty trays in buffet.we waited so long for sambar and chutney...that our ildlis n dosas became so hard....the waiter gave dosa s for our friends in the next table n 4gt 2 give dosas 2 us...she served naan for our table n 4gt others in other table...total hapazhard...and then i forced myself 2 eat idli n dosa with sugar...because no sambar nothin...and the price is way 2 high,,,buffet per head is $16...then left the restaurant hungry n dissppointed...i will nt suggest others.
