Tryst rises from the dead -- and pours free booze
Dive Bar has already taken a dive -- and owner Paul Piciocchi is bringing back Tryst Lounge tonight. "Oops, my bad," he said in announcing the switch. "To everyone who told us that we were crazy to change the beloved Tryst name after six successful years...Yeah, you were probably right about that one."
The club at 1512 Larimer Street got a facelift with it changed to Dive a few months ago, and Piciocchi says he's keeping some of those updates. But when his place takes back the Tryst name, it will also have more of an elegant feel.
And what says elegant more than free drinks? All you need to drink free (well/wine/domestics -- no shots, since the staff doesn't want to carry you home) from now until 2 a.m. tomorrow is to go to Tryst's page on Facebook and sign up that you [LIKE] it.
