EatDenver Harvest Week kickoff party at Balistreri Vineyards
Denver's third-annual Harvest Week begins Saturday, August 21 and runs through August 27, when nearly forty of Denver's best independent restaurants will be offering special menus. Last night's EatDenver Harvest Week kickoff party at Balistreri Vineyards was a fantastic celebration of local products and harvest flavors, as ten chefs worked with a cornucopia of corn, peaches and melons (and microgreens). Among the crowd favorites: chef Jeff Bolton (Second Home) served up buffalo bratwurst with mustard sauerkraut; chef Chuck James (1515 Restaurant) offered sous vide Colorado lamb loin; and chef Scott Parker (Table 6) featured carrot cake beignets. ![]()
