Satchel's Market to close, reopen as Satchel's on 6th
The vividly-hued building on the corner of 28th and Fairfax in North Park Hill is about to lose a tenant. The owners of the five-year-old Satchel's Market, 5021 East 28th Avenue, are shuttering the market-cum-neighborhood-restaurant that we recently reviewed, citing issues with the landlord and lease.

They won't be gone long, though. After Andrew Casalini closes up shop at Satchel's, he'll take at least part of the crew over to a Larimer Associates-owned building on Sixth Avenue at Gilpin Street, where they'll serve wine and espresso alongside small plates and desserts at a new place called Satchel's on 6th. Notably absent from the staff mentioned on the new spot's Facebook page? Current chef Jens Patrik Landberg.
This new rendition of Satchel's, slated to debut on November 1, will be open during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours every day except Monday. The old Satchel's will serve dinner and brunch during regular hours until it shuts down at the end of September.
