Satchel's Market to close, reopen as Satchel's on 6th

• It's true, Satchel's Market will close mid-September. After five years in Park Hill and lease issues, we've decided to close this location. A new spot, a wine and espresso bar, that focuses on delicious small plates and superb wine list and desserts, along with illy coffee and creative sandwiches, opens in November at 6th Ave/Gilpin. Satchel's Market would like to thank all of our dedicated supporters and customers that helped make it a huge success. Next up, Satchel's on 6th Avenue. Coming in November we'll open up a new concept that focuses on espresso in the morning, a business lunch, and a wine tasting room at night. See you there friends!

• We're so grateful for everyone that's supported us these last 5 years. Thank you so much for your loyalty, encouragement, and fun energy. It's been an incredible experience having so many of our customers become dear friends, walking in and knowing many of you by first name. Community has definitely been built at the big table! Satchel's is a place with good vibes because of you. Though we'll miss so many things about Satchel's Market, we're looking ahead to a new adventure at Satchel's on 6th. We hope to see you there! • ***SHOCKED!!!!!!*** Neighbor 07/14/2010 4:24:24 PM This place is always empty and creepy looking. The prices are ridiculous, especially given the place looks like a flea market 'design' job. That it has not gone under is surprising. Park Hill is not the area that comes to mind when thinking about a Denver neighborhood that has the $45 per dinner customer base to support this kind of a 'lets casually walk over for dinner and wine' kind of place.
