Boulder restaurants offer free food to Four Mile Canyon fire evacuees

• The Hospice Thrift & Gift Shop (5290 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder) is supporting those who've been displaced by the Fourmile Canyon fire with a $50 gift certificate, plus 50% off any additional household goods, clothing or furniture. You can help by donating needed items like clothing and household goods.

• Bacaro (www.bacaro.com) is offering Happy Hour pricing on all food and drinks to Fourmile Fire victims every day through the month of September. Proof of residence in the three canyons area is required.

• Let's remember and thank these folks by eating at their restaurants! Thank you all! Bravo!

• Saxy's Cafe providing food and drinks for firefighters/emergency workers

• The Kitchen, 1039 Pearl Street is also doing free entrees for displaced residents until brunch on Saturday, and bagged lunches for firefighters.
