Dishing up the latest winner of our Dish tickets -- and offering up one last chance

Yesterday, we offered readers another chance to win a pair of tickets to Dish, Westword's annual celebration of dining in Denver, at the EXDO Event Center, 1399 35th Street, on Wednesday, September 22.

Contestants had to tell us in five words or less why they deserved the tickets. And the winner of the latest round: Every day i'm in a cube, who lamented: "My 'office' isn't a corner." (Cube-dweller, send your full name to cafe@westword.com, so that we can get you on the will-call list. Or come to the office before 5 p.m. tomorrow to pick up your tickets.)

And now we're giving everyone another chance to get out of the office and party at Dish.

We'll be giving away another pair of tickets today, with the same rules: Post the reason you should win in five words or less in the comments section below. (If you entered before, feel free to repost your entry -- or come up with another one.) Deadline for this round: 4 p.m. today, and we'll announce the winner before 5 p.m.

This year's participating restaurants at Dish include Appaloosa Grill, Apple Spice Junction, Argyll, Big Fat Cupcakes, Big Kahuna, Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs, Corner Office, Frills Bake Shop, Gaetano's Restaurant, Goosetown Tavern, Habesha, Kinga's, Lala's Wine Bar + Pizzeria, Little India, Marlowe's, Organic Pizza Co., Pasquini's, Pearl Street Grill, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Second Home, Sexy Pizza, Steve's Snappin' Dogs, Sully's Slice Truck, the 9th Door, the Inventing Room, the Porker, Tony's Market, Waffle Brothers, Walt's Mobile Bistro, Wazee Supper Club and Wynkoop Brewing Company.

There will also be liquor samplings, mixology contests and live entertainment.

For those who don't win the tickets, admission is $30 in advance at westword.com, $40 at the door and $50 for VIP, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Volunteers of America and the GrowHaus.
