The Justice League's third party will have an '80s theme
The Justice League of Street Food is on a roll, and will hold its third party October 1.
From 5 to 10 p.m. this Friday, the Deluxe Little Orange Rocket, the Inventing Room and Sully's Slice Truck, the Cupcake Truck, Biker Jim's, Steuben's, the Biscuit Bus, Pinche Tacos, Steamin' Demon and the Gastro Cart will once again gather in a vacant lot at 29th Avenue and Huron Street, behind the ballpark. And now that the crew has worked the kinks out of the long lines, it's adding to the fun.
This party has an '80s theme. The DJ will spin '80s music. The Denver Film Society will project '80s movie clips. And you should bust out the acid-washed jeans and legwarmers, because it's in your best interest to dress in great '80s garb.
This party will also include some one-time-only food offerings, including tasting portions from a lot of the trucks that cost just a dollar or two. And, of course, there will be alcohol, including beer from Great Divide Brewing Co. (The proceeds from beer sales will benefit the Denver Film Society.) Delores Tronco, spokeswoman for the league, hints that there may be a couple of other booze options available this round, but that's still unconfirmed.
