Tonight: Farm dinner at Duo with local produce from Heirloom Gardens

Duo, Keith Arnold and Stephanie Bonin's farm-to-table restaurant at 2413 West 32nd Avenue, is partnering with Heirloom Gardens, the Highland CSA/NSA founded by Sundari Elizabeth Kraft, for a four-course farm dinner tonight.

"We can attest that everything served at tonight's dinner was harvested from the gardens on Monday, so the produce will be less than 36 hours off the plant," promises Kraft, who will speak about urban agriculture and local food production at the feast, which starts at 7 p.m.

First Course: Tempura baby eggplant, marinated cucumbers and yogurt sauce

Second Course: Heirloom tomatoes, arugula, garlic croutons, sherry and Spanish olive oil

Third Course: Colorado striped bass, pesto, basmati rice, Swiss chard and blistered cherry tomatoes

Fourth Course: Plum torte with almond streusel and fresh corn ice cream
