Dixons Downtown Grill doling out comforting dinner deals
Aaron Youngblood, exec chef at Dixons Downtown Grill (read his recent Chef and Tell interview here), is cooking up a series of $9.99 comfort-food specials at the restaurant at 1610 16th Street. 
Last night, the deal debuted with chicken pot pie. Tonight's special is beef brisket; stuffed meatloaf is on tap for tomorrow, with an herb-roasted half chicken on Thursday. And the comforting bargains continue through the weekend, with shrimp, chips and slaw on Friday, slow-roasted beef short ribs on Saturday and steak Stroganoff on Sunday.
