Jack-n-Grill makes it a trio with its newest outpost in Westminster

• Have to agree on the marginality of this place. Went for lunch and found it to be disappointing. The portion to price ratio is poor. Waited for for what ended up being tepid food. Not impressed with the taste. Tried it, did not like it, will not be back

• Went a week after opening on a Saturday lunch. Pre warning I am a Manager in the business so i always look for the things that might have caused the problems and never get all that upset. 6 min to get greeted 10 min later got a drink, wrong took her 25 min to check back and ask for order. (wow) food took 30ish food was good beside the 12 fries i got on my plate( really 12 fries) asked for some ketchup, this is where it gets awesome! Seen the server walk to server station get it and then pull out cell text a few time then grab a cig and leave, took her 12 min to bring it to us then get mad when she had to refill our drinks. So after eating server drops of check. very quickly collects payment we are talking light speed here folks. drpos off cc slips and bam leaves no pens or any to go boxs as we all had leftover food, we waited 20 min before i walked to front asked for a pen and a few box and all the hos and or manager said was sorry and said sorry its just "her" Never have i seen a place that i want to like so much just go down in flames! I want to like you but I really dont know if i can fathom another trip down that lane.

• I was also there on Sunday and may have been seated near some of the diners above. If so, I think them for being visibly displeased and vocal about it. We waited over 20 minutes for drinks, while noticing all of the unhappy faces, unfilled glasses and tables without food. We tried to ask our clueless server if there was a problem and she assured us everything was fine and our order would be handled promptly. After hearing yet anohter refrain of "we asked for _____ over 1/2 hour ago and still haven't gotten it" we left $5 on the table for our sodas and went elsewhere. I do hope things can improve with time as this place is in my neighborhood but things did not look good last night. One more thing: every other table except ours had chips & salsa, so we assumed it was free as it is in jut about every other Mexican place on the planet. Wehn our server finally came by we asked if it was free and she said no, you had to order it (she never asked us either way). Um, OK, so you;re not going offer it, let alone give it away when people are having to wait ridiculous amounts of time for their food? Seriously?

• We had a great experience at the original Jack's. The Belleview location opened and we had one good experience and one horrible experience. The floor was not busy and it took 20 minutes for anyone to come over. We waited another 20 minutes for drinks that never materialized. The staff seemed more interested in chattting with each other than waiting on customers. We were not the only table that left with empty tummies and frowns. We will never be back to any location- we work too hard to be treating like that

• 4 friends visited this new location last night and had the absolute worst dining experience ever encountered. Waiting an hour to get seated, 30 minutes to get drinks and chips, told of all the items they were out of - Gorditas, Green chilies, bacon - another 45 minutes to get our food and when I had ordered an Albuquerque burger, I get a chicken sandwich. This place is terribly managed and at first I felt sorry for our wait staff until I was told I had not ordered a burger but ordered the chicken sandwich as if the wrong order was my fault - I hate chicken. If a business can not accommodate that size of crowd they should turn them away at the door with an offer, of some kind, to return rather than subject their NEW customers to that kind of service and chaos. Needles to say, we left without eating, after over 2 hours, as we were not going to wait another 30 minutes to eat and who knows what our 4 meals would have finally ended as. And to top it off there were no apologies offered from management. I know business do not like to see a scathing review but it is what it is.

• The new restaurant has great food, but the customer service is a little to be desired. The manager is horrible.

• That seven-pounder is tough. If anyone was looking for the recipe for Jack'n'Grill's seven-pounder, here it is: 1 Tortilla 6.9 lb Potatoes 1/2 egg 2Tbsp Green Chile Directions: Cook Potatoes until they are done. Lightly scramble half-egg on flat top. Mix the 6.9 pounds of potato with the half egg and roll in tortilla. Cover lightly with green chile.
