Guess where you're eating? At an EatDenver restaurant, if you're Nic
Cafe Society served up five Guess Where contests last week, with dishes ranging from the pork al pastor at El Taco Velez to lobster at JJ Chinese Seafood to the fried chicken above, which you can find at Green Russell.
Lori Midson Green Russell's fried chicken really flies.
For correctly identifying the the dish as coming from that new speakeasy below Larimer Square, Nic wins an EatDenver deck.
Nic, send your contact info to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll send you the prize. (Previous winners: If you're still waiting for a deck, send a note to email@example.com.)
But really, anyone who buys an EatDenver deck is a winner: For $50, you get 52 cards, each offering a $10 discount at a local, independent restaurant that's a member of EatDenver (formerly DINR, the Denver Independent Network of Restaurants). You can buy the decks at any Tattered Cover location or at www.eatdenver.com.
Or, of course, you can win one right here. Because next Monday, Cafe Society will again award a deck to one of the winners of the previous week's Guess Where I'm Eating/Drinking posts.
Happy eating -- and guessing.
