The Denver Cupcake Truck unveils a sibling in the Springs
When Denon Moore, owner of Cake Crumbs Bakery, 2216 Kearney Street, unveiled the Denver Cupcake Truck this spring with her husband Sean, her vehicle became one of the first street food concepts to hit the Mile High City.

And now, Pat Kennelly, Moore's aunt, is launching The Springs Cupcake Truck in Colorado Springs, a city that's just beginning to experience the mobile movement.
"It's an extension of their business," says Kennelly, who owns and operates the second vehicle. "And we don't really have food trucks down here in the Springs yet, so we wanted to see how it would work out."
And though Kennelly, who also owns another Colorado Springs restaurant called the Mediterranean Cafe, says she's close to taking to the streets, she's hesitant to give an exact date.
"We just got the truck down here, and we just have a few minor things to take care of before we get started," she notes.
