Tonight: Ototo Food and Wine Bar's Pinot Noir-tasting and benefit for Japan
Over the past week, Ototo Food and Wine Bar, Izakaya Den and Sushi Den have raised over $50,000 for the Japanese Red Cross. Each of the restaurants will have donation buckets out for the rest of the month, so that diners can make direct contributions to relief efforts.
But from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, Ototo will hold a more formal fundraiser: Passion for Pinot Noirs Wine Tasting Mixer. At the event at 1501 South Pearl Street, a variety of Pinot Noirs will be paired with the chef's selections, and a sommelier will be on hand to answer questions. Tickets are $30, and 10 percent of that will go to the Japanese Red Cross. For more information or to reserve a spot, call 303-733-2503.
