Culinary calendar for the week ahead: Wine dinners, Breckenridge Beer Festival and more

There are dozens of wine events taking place this week -- which you can finish off with a brewski at Breckenridge's annual Beer Festival. Here's a taste of what's ahead:

Monday, April 4:

Morton's, 1710 Wynkoop Street, presents L'Amore di Vino, with wine-tasting and food to benefit Tennyson Center for Children. It runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and costs $150; call 303-825-3353 or visit www.mortons.com.

Jax Fish House, 1539 17th Street, presents the Renegade Genius Wine Dinner, where Abe Schoener joins forces with Sheila Lucero for a three-course wine dinner with six selections from the Scholium Project. It starts at 7:30 p.m. and costs $65; call 303-292-5767 or visit www.jaxfishhousedenver.com.

Lola's Dos Casas Dinner appears to be on April 20th, not April 7th and costs $85 to $125
