DIA adds a few Colorado-centric carts and kiosks...and they're hiring
We've carped plenty about the lack of Colorado-created items at Denver International Airport, and a new program will not only introduce a few state-specific retail outlets, but will also be hiring some Coloradans to work at them at a job fair today.

Over the next two weeks, up to fourteen new kiosks and 24 carts will be introduced at DIA, including several that specialize in Colorado food products. Among the additions are a cart from Hammond's Candies, a ninety-year-old institution in this town; one from Wystone's World Tea, an offshoot of the Belmar store; and one from Climax Jerky, a company that got its start as a little cart outside the Climax mine outside of Leadville more than a decade ago and has now grown to two stores, numerous carts and even its own processing outfit.

(City Conference Room on Level 6 West)
Kiosk/RMU operators are actively seeking to hire retail sales associates and managers.

All applicants MUST pass a 10-year background check to be eligible for employment at the airport.
Applicants should bring a resume, dress to impress, and be prepared to sell their skills to employers.

Now, if we could just get a few Colorado craft beer kiosks added to the mix...
