Denver Burger Battle, Dinner In White and more on this week's culinary calendar
With Euclid Hall's first anniversary party, the Denver Burger Battle and the Dinner in White, the Denver dining scene already has a very full plate this week. But there's more, lots more, including Vesta Dipping Grill's Menu Classic Mondays ((those are Vesta's samosas you see before you). Here's a taste of this week's culinary calendar:
Monday, August 8:
Vesta Dipping Grill, 1822 Blake Street, will feature another Menu Classic Monday: a three-course meal for two for only $52.80, based on the Vesta cookbook that came out last December. The menu changes monthly; for details, call 303-296-1970 or visit www.vestagrill.com.
The Kitchen Table, 5375 Landmark Place in Greenwood Village, will present Meatless Monday, part of a series of classes offered every Monday at dinnertime. Call 303-220-9769 or visit www.kitchentablegv.com.
The Kitchen, 1039 Pearl Street in Boulder, will host its Monday Night Community Dinner, a four-course, family-style dinner; a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Growe Foundation's mission of placing organic gardens in Boulder schools. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. and costs $35; reservations are required.
Interstate Kitchen & Bar, 901 West 10th Avenue, will host the Rock 'n' Roll Spelling Bee, where you can eat, drink and win prizes starting at 10 p.m. Call 720-479-8829 or visit www.interstaterestaurant.com.
