Cured, a gourmet cheese shop, opens this week (latest tweet says August 20) at 1825 Pearl Street in Boulder -- and that's just the beginning of the delights on this week's culinary-events menu. Here's a taste of what's ahead:

Monday, August 15:

Frasca Food and Wine, 1738 Pearl Street in Boulder, will host a Monday Night Wine Dinner, with Mouton Noir wines presented by Andre Mack. Admission is $50 and up; call 303-442-6966 or visit www.frascafoodandwine.com.

Randolph's, 1776 Grant Street, will offer a prix fixe, three-course dinner today through Friday. The meal is $29 and up, with wine pairings for an additional charge. For more information, call 303-318-7272 or visit www.randolphsdenver.com.
