Wild Eggs has gone wild, breaking out of its home in Louisville, Kentucky, where it has three restaurants, and landing in West Washington Park -- where the breakfast and lunch (with liquor!) joint opened today.

Here's a first look:

Hoity toity breakfast place. A disappointment for me. The only thing that matters is the quality of the food and whether my waiter can keep my coffee cup reasonably full. All the interior deco and coordinated light blue shirts for the wait staff is all just window dressing ...

Paddy's next statement: "Back in my day we'd wear an onion on our belts because that was the style ya know, and we didn't have them fancy red onions neither, just them big soft yella ones.  Hey you Dang KIDS!!!   I SAID GET OFF MY LAWN!! "

Fantastic - no more hour waits at Lucile's.  Nothing like a little competition.  Hope the food is as good as it looks.
