El Grito de Independencia celebrations at El Diablo and Mezcal
Contrary to popular belief, Mexico does not celebrate its independence day on Cinco de Mayo. Mexico's El Grito de Independencia is actually today, and a couple of places will be celebrating.
El Diablo, 101 Broadway, will offer a special "El Grito" menu all day, as well as late-night drink specials and $1 tacos after 11 p.m. Call 303-954-0324.
