Guess where I'm eating?

I ordered the mole enchiladas, only to have the server look at me dubiously before asking if I actually knew what "mole" was. That was strike one. Strike two was when my friend went out to the car to fetch his phone, and the host bid him farewell, only to greet him two minutes later with a "Hello, one for dinner?" But there was a home run in the otherwise pedestrian plate in the above pic -- namely the chile relleno, which was the only thing worth eating.

Can you guess where I'm eating?

Special bonus: Anyone who gives the first correct answer to the week's Where am I drinking/eating posts is entered into a pool -- and every Monday, we select one lucky winner who'll receive a 2011 EatDenver dining deck, worth up to $520 in discounts at independent restaurants. Time to settle this: Rain nailed it, with his (her?) guess of Cantina Laredo.

I was pretty sure on that one. I ate there once. Not making that mistake again.

Well, I don't think any of these (including my Chili Verde idea) is correct.  It's got to be Paxia - maybe?  Or, perhaps El Olivido (considering the review that's coming tomorrow).

Lori, that's why the green stuff is affectionately referred to as 'dope'.

Well, the nasty crema drizzle makes me think it has something to do with Jesse Morreale, so I'll go with Mezcal.

That would have more impact if Jesse Morreale still had anything to do with Mezcal.

Mark,Can you tell me how that place has changed since Sean Yontz and Jesse left?  Basically the same restaurant, same menu, right?

Don't know - haven't eaten there in ages, but never got anything with squiggles on it even when they were in charge. Just saying, your dig would have been more effective if you'd said El Diablo.

Horrible, horrible food. Great roof-top deck.
