Guess where I'm eating?

The couple behind us were gushing -- positively gushing, I tell you -- over the green chile that spans the plates at this long-standing Mexican joint. But just like I don't get the hoopla surrounding the frankfurters at Coney Island, I definitely don't understand the obsession with the green chile here, which is thinner than water and tastes like it, too. No es bueno!

Can you guess where I'm eating?

Scott nailed this one: That green chile plate is from La Casa De Manuel.

If that's a styro plate, Chubby's or Bubbachinos.

It looks like you were eating from something produced in a Detox van possibly??

Well, it could by Casa de Manuel.  I've always thought their green chile was watery.  But, I'm going to go with Rosa Linda's - so not a fan.

La Casa De Manuel?  The smothered bean and shredded beef burrito is delicious.

I don't choose to go to places that I *know* I'm going to dislike. I try different restaurants all the time, and some I like, some I don't. Just like you, I imagine.
