Latkes are traditional Hanukah fare -- the Hebrew word from which "latke" is derived means "heart" -- and we all know and love the little potato pancakes that make our tastebuds dance every winter. Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia Street, will host the annual Top Latke Cook-Off and Hanukah Party at 5:30 p.m. tonight; admission ($15 to $55) includes dinner, the latke contest and entertainment. Advance reservations are require; call 303-388-4239, e-mail elaine.lee@micahdenver.org or visit www.micahdenver.org.
