Fat Tuesday food-and-drink events around the city
It's Fat Tuesday! Still looking for a place to celebrate Mardi Gras? Here are some options...
All three Jax Fish House locations -- 1539 17th Street (303-292-5767, www.jaxfishhousedenver.com), 928 Pearl Street, Boulder (303-444-1811, www.jaxfishhouseboulder.com) and 123 North College Avenue in Fort Collins (970-682-2275, www.jaxfortcollins.com) -- are throwing Fat Tuesday parties with drink specials, king cake, a crawfish boil and more.

And if you'd like to spend your evening a bit more constructively, Cook Street School of Fine Cooking, 1937 Market Street, will host a Mardi Gras cooking class from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. tonight. Admission is $89; call 303-308-9300 or visit www.cookstreet.com.
