Jack is back! Against all odds, Jack in the Box, the San-Diego based chain, has popped back up in popularity, with more than 2,200 restaurants in twenty states, a hip logo that replaced the clownie typeface three years ago and a blabby website. And the newest metro location will debut today with a new look, new menu items, dining-room seating -- and the same 24/7 drive-thru service.

The doors of this new store at 15399 East Mississippi Avenue in Aurora will open at 9 a.m., and the first 500 visitors will get a special giveaway.

The store is managed by Edith Beltran, and features the quick-serve chain's latest restaurant design, including decorative lighting, ceramic tile floors, graphic wall hangings, and a mix of seating styles, including booths and high-top tables; the dining room can hold up to fifty guests.

The menu has new items, too, and now features everything from burgers to chicken teriyaki bowls to real ice cream shakes and fruit smoothies, to a range of value-priced items, like two tacos for 99 cents,

The company that runs Jack also operates Qdoba Mexican Grill, which now has more than 600 restaurants in 42 states.

Jack is back.
