Culinary Calendar: Microbreweries for the Environment, a food truck blow-out and more
Food truck are revving up for the summer, which means plenty of parties -- including Boulder's first, set for June 8.
Celebrity chef Jake Gandolfo will join the Crock Spot and other food trucks on April 29 for a Food Bank of the Rockies benefit.
But the mobile movement really gets in gear this week. Here's a taste of what's on the culinary calendar:
Monday, April 23:
Cured, 1825 Pearl Street in Boulder, is collaborating with Pizzeria Basta, the Tasterie food truck and Boxcar Coffee Roasters on a "pop-up" dinner to benefit the Growe Foundation this evening. For $100, guests will be treated to a Cured charcuterie board, three courses from Chef Kelly Whitaker of Basta, dessert from the Tasterie and coffee from Boxcar -- all paired with local craft beers and wines. There will be two seatings, starting at 5:30 p.m.; call 720-389-8096 to reserve a spot.
