Culinary Calendar: Microbreweries for the Environment, a food truck blow-out and more
Rollin Against Hunger takes place today from 2 to 8 p.m., outside Mile High Spirits, 2920 Larimer Street. Crock Spot owners Stephen Daniels and Mandy Birks have teamed up with celebrity chef Jake Gandolfo of MasterChef fame to host a food-truck blowout that will benefit Food Bank of the Rockies. Several food trucks, including Crock Spot, Street Eats, NZ Smokin' Guns, Mestizos and Aiko Pops, will convene curbside to feed the masses. There will be cooking demonstrations by Gandolfo, live music and local beers and libations.
