Cinco de Mayo at El Diablo and more on this week's calendar

Categories: Things To Do

El Diablo will host a three-day Cinco de Mayo celebration starting on Thursday.
Cinco de Mayo is this Saturday, as is the Kentucky Derby -- offering plenty of reasons to celebrate Southern cooking as well as Den-Mex. If you know of a particularly good party connected to either of these two events, send the info to or post it in the comments section below.

But there's much more on the menu for the first week of May:

Monday, April 30:

BikeDenver will be the beneficiary of a fundraiser today at Watercourse Foods, 837 East 17th Avenue. The restaurant, which won Best Vegetarian Restaurant in the Best of Denver 2012, will donate a portion of all food sales to the bicycle-advocacy group.

Jeanette Servidio of the Tenuta Argentiera winery will be at Frasca Food and Wine, 1738 Pearl Street in Boulder, pouring affordable wines from Tuscany at this evening's special weekly dinner. Call 303-442-6966 to RSVP.
